Dalam kesibukan prepare for annual assessment and Raya Aidiladha, sempat jugak kitorang siapkan a few wedding thingy..
Bunga Pahar is Ready Yeayyy! Hampa masa gi Nilai tak jumpa bunga telur yang diidamkan. Setelah meng-google blogs wedding vendor, terjumpa blog Wawa. i like the simplicity of her bunga telur so i emailed her straight away. Reply was prompt. Puas hati dengan harga, i placed a deposit and the deal was sealed. Janji nak deliver bunga telur at end of November. i was so pleased when she emailed me last week saying the bunga telur is ready. That's one month ahead of schedule! Bunga telur pon cantik and seperti dalam gambar. Thanks Wawa!
Borang Kebenaran Nikah Settled! Disebabkan Mr. Chenta and i live in the same mukim/kawasan, proses dapatkan kebenaran nikah adalah smooth. He went to see the Qadi first. Sebab sama kawasan, Qadi suruh datang balik bawak saya dan wali. So last Friday we went along with Wan and my brothers pastu terus ke JAWI. Alhamdulillah mudah urusan :)
Change of Nikah Venue.. Initially nak buat kat rumah. After careful consideration, rasanya senang buat kat masjid. So dah tukar, kami akan bernikah di Masjid Uzamah bin Zaid, Wangsa Maju :)
Doorgift Settled Yeay! If you remember in my Jakarta post, i have bought doorgifts for female guest. Yang lelaki punya tak beli di sana. Setelah puas memikir dan mencari, kami dah settlekan gift untuk lelaki. Phewwww...
Apa lagi ya? Hopefully this weekend or next week kami ada masa nak gi fitting baju sanding. Berdebar nak tengok outcome!
Planning and preparing for a wedding is fun, but it's tiring! Don't get me wrong, like any other bride, i'm excited to dream about my wedding, i'm having fun preparing.. But i always find myself wanting to get this over and done with, so we can be husband and wife and live as a happy married couple.
Sometimes people ask, what's the wedding theme? i found i can't really answer this. Wedding saya takde lah theme macam garden ke, Hollywood wedding ke, Moroccan wedding ke.. For me, as long as wedding kami organized and ada benda-benda perlu (like pelamin cantik, baju cantik, makanan sedap, deco ala kadar, doorgift as a thank you for our guests, etc) it's good enough. Tipu lah kalau tak teringin baju designer (i adore Rizman Ruzaini and Hatta Dolmat) but saya kedekut nak spend duit. Hehe. Maybe people expects a grand wedding from me just because i work for a Multinational company, i don't know.. Wedding mak biase je nokkk..
Even my friends are surprised kenapa saya belom jadi bridezilla and tak kecoh-kecoh kat FB pasal wedding. Even this blog pon takde listkan vendor or brides-to-be blog list. Takda jugak elaboration melampau pasal dream wedding/hantaran/decoration, etc.. i don't know how to answer that either. Maybe the appropriate answer is "Because i don't feel like it.."
Haihhh asalnya nak share pasal wedding update je, last-last jadi sesi luahan perasaan pulak. Okay, signing off for now.
p/s: tak sabar nak gi wedding my UMS girlfriend, Mawai this weekend. i always refer to her blog for wedding vendors. Informative tau! Can't wait to see the dress, and the DIY stuff she made. She's gonna look GORGEOUS!
